Menstruation should be viewed as beautiful
#1
I am saying this as someone who can't stand the sight of blood. The reason I feel it should be viewed this way is that it is part of the female body to signal and adjust itself to carry life. Nothing is more beautiful and powerful than using your natural ability to bring life into this world and menstruation is a part of that. I hope as the years go on, people see the value in it.

I think you are right. I feel like there has long been some kind of stigma around bleeding for women that have made them feel ashamed of it or something. It seems like these days though, most men don't seem to care or be bothered by it. I agree too, being able to literally bring life into this world, it is an amazing thing!

The blood is dirty but the function is beautiful. That is what I think people are missing. It is okay to view the blood and the bleeding itself as gross because for a lot of folks, blood is gross/upsetting but the actual function happening there which causes the bleeding is what is beautiful.
