Can someone who is familiar with them and has used them explain how they work and where they go? I am curious about this.

I am familiar with rectal suppositories having used them for issues with IBS but I have never heard of birth control suppositories.

They work the same way a rectum one does (but obviously in the other hole! lol) but you need a waiting period for them to be ready. I think it depends on the brand but most say you need to wait around 30 minutes before sex and they last 3 hours after so you can put them in in advance if needed.

If you want a breakdown of how to use them and how they function, this is the best source I can find on the topic:
https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/322908 I have never used this method but I know some women who do and they prefer it because it is easier for them vs using condoms or oral birth control. |
