Should you get a C-section if you are older?
I read that birth after the age of 35 comes with a lot of risks. I still want to have children but I know my time is running out. I am hoping to get pregnant by next year, I will be 36. Twins run in my family so I might luck out and have two in one go and not have to worry about getting pregnant again. If not, I would like to have one more shortly after. I am just worried that if I give birth, it can be a big risk for me and the baby(s) now that I am older.
With twins, I think it might be good to consider but this is really up to your doctor. I am not really sure if it is necessary or not but I know in many cases, it is safer when twins are involved.
I know that women tend to be at risk of issues as they get older which is why some doctors will tell them a c section is a better approach but I think issues with birthing twins comes down to the body rather than the age. I am sure a doctor can tell you better than we can what would be best.
