Can a hysterectomy cause blood count issues years later?

A friend of mine had a hysterectomy when she was 42 because her bleeding was too strong during menstruation and her doctor said he was concerned it can lead to health issues. Since then, she has had high blood pressure and just a few months ago, her doctor (a separate one) was showing concern for her blood counts as if she might have leukemia or something. Can a hysterectomy cause blood count issues years later?

It can cause issues with blood pressure, I know it is common for women to have high blood pressure after having this done and for some women, it never goes back down. So I would imagine it can alter blood counts and things like that.

A family member of mine had hers done and she has had high blood pressure ever since as well as issues with whacky blood tests. Her doctor has never been concerned over it though and just told her to keep an eye on both so I think it is possible.
