When is a woman considered infertile based on age?
#1
I have heard/read stories of women getting pregnant during their menopause years, some even in their late 40s, early 50s. It made me think a lot about how the female body works and functions. I am wondering now at what point is a woman considered completely infertile due to her age. Does anyone know?

It is said that a woman ins her younger to mid-twenties is about 30% likely to get pregnant each month. Once you hit 30, this drops down to 25% and is said to go down 1-2% each year from there.

So for the average woman who is, say, 38 years old her chance of getting pregnant would be between 9% and 17%. I would say for most women, by the age of 45, should consider themselves infertile because the chances of getting pregnant without assistance are extremely low, most having less than a 3% chance.

I feel like age is just a baseline for guidance when it comes to this stuff. You really need to know your own body and the health of it. The healthier you are, the longer you have basically.
