Can you start menopause in your 20's?
#1
I noticed my hormones have been acting weird lately. I get cramps and hot flashes a day or two before my period. I am also seeing gray hairs popping up and my skin just doesn't look as youthful anymore. It is as if I aged overnight 5 years. I haven't been feeling too great about it. Also, I am having issues with hair loss. Could this mean I am going into menopause already? I am 27 years old.

It is considered rare but yes, premenopausal syndrome is a thing. It happens to women as young as 16. They basically enter puberty, fully mature, and enter right into premenopausal stages. Again, this is rare. I would talk to a doctor about it.

Unfortunately, you can. I think this is down to all the pollution, chemicals, and poor food quality many women eat today. Something as simple as lack of good sleep can throw off your body's hormones.

Some women start menopause earlier than others and they can be going through the change for 10 or more years even. So there is a change you are starting it but you won't get to a point where your period is coming to an end for a while.
